Owners Notes

My Family, Friends and I have thoroughly enjoyed racing and cruising Flair V from new.

My all amateur crew from Poole YC enjoyed much success competing in several Commodore’s Cups, Cork Week, Scottish Series, Spi Ouest and a host of Solent and Poole based events.  We were twice IRC Class 2 National Champions and once 2nd overall.

We have always cruised but over recent years have converted Flair for longer periods of cruising with my wife and I spending many weeks in South Brittany (2018), North Brittany (2019) and The West Country last year with our daughters and grandchildren joining us whenever possible.

Furling Genoa’s and lazy Jack mainsail, a 20kg. Rocna anchor and 40 metres of chain on a windlass plus the comfort of sprayhood and extension have all helped to make this really easy not to mention Guernsey to Poole in just over 9 hours the last twice that we did it!

We shall be sorry to let her go, only too pleased to chat about her to you.
